Hundreds of flights to be affected as a result of the incoming storm

Hong Kong’s flagship carrier Cathay Pacific expected at least 500 flights will be cancelled while Hong Kong Airlines will axe all flights between 6 P.M to 6 A.M on Thursday.

As Typhoon Ragasa edges ever closer to the city, a number of travellers took the pre-emptive step of rescheduling their flights in case of any cancellations. The Airport Authority announced the airport will remain operational over the course of the super typhoon’s presence in the city.
