Floodwaters Regulated In An Giang

Moving on to some weather updates in several parts of Viet Nam. Floodwater levels in the upstream Mekong Delta are rising. To regulate water flow, clean fields, and supply alluvial soil for thousands of hectares of rice in the Long Xuyên Quadrangle, An Giang province opened the Tha La and Trà Sư sluice gates on Monday. This year, water levels inside and outside the two sluice gates are about 1.1 meters higher than last year due to heavy rainfall.
