New French PM Lecornu makes first official visit to health centre

Sébastien Lecornu visited the Saône-et-Loire departmental health centre in Mâcon for his first trip as Prime Minister, focusing on health and the "daily lives. President Emmanuel Macron has named close ally Sébastien Lecornu as the new French prime minister, 24 hours after a vote of confidence ousted François Bayrou as head of government.

Lecornu has spent the past three years as armed forces minister. During his visit, the Prime Minister promises to build a French health network to provide everyone with healthcare services less than 30 minutes from their home.
