21st edition of the India-US joint military exercise is underway in Alaska, USA

 
The 21st edition of the India–US joint military exercise Yudh Abhyas is underway at Fort Wainwright in Alaska. The field training phase has begun, with soldiers from both armies practicing a range of battle drills. The exercise will run until September 14.

Over two weeks, troops will train in heliborne operations, use of surveillance and unmanned aerial systems, rock craft, mountain warfare, casualty evacuation, combat medical aid, and the combined employment of artillery, aviation, and electronic warfare systems.
