North Korea's Kim tours munitions plant ahead of China visit

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has visited a munitions plant before his upcoming visit to China. North Korea's state-run Korean Central News Agency reported on Monday that Kim had inspected the factory's new missile production line the previous day.

The report said Kim stressed that the country has made rapid progress in its missile production capability and is ready to deploy missiles to units. The North's leader reportedly instructed the plant to prepare for production goals that will be set by a planned congress of the ruling Workers' Party.
