10 more no-smoking zones have been added to public transport facilities in Hong Kong

Starting Sunday, 10 more no-smoking zones have been added to public transport facilities in Hong Kong. Offenders are liable to a fixed penalty of 1,500 dollars without warning. Exhibition Centre Station Public Transport Interchange is among the newly added no-smoking zones.

A map on the wall shows that the smoke-free area covers the entire bus terminal as well as the entrances and exits of the MTR station. The extension of no-smoking areas aims to protect the public from second-hand smoke and discourage smoking.
