Kandy hosts first-ever International Pali Conference

The first-ever international conference on the Future of Pali Studies was held at Kandy in Sri Lanka on Tuesday. The event was jointly organized by the Assistant High Commission of India and the University of Peradeniya. The day-long event drew leading scholars from Sri Lanka, India and beyond, exploring Pali’s legacy and its place in the modern world. The event reaffirms deep India-Sri Lanka cultural ties and highlights Pali’s classical significance.
