









An anti-corruption awareness seminar, a collaboration between the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and the Anti-Corruption Commission, was held at the Jade Hall of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism on August 21.
The event was opened with a speech by Union Minister for the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, Jeng Phang Naw Taung. In his speech, the Union Minister thanked the Anti-Corruption Commission for holding the seminar.
He said that since the ministry has already formed an internal anti-corruption prevention team, it is important to raise awareness among civil service personnel to keep them free from corruption. He also urged the attendees to actively participate in the fight against corruption by sharing the knowledge they gained from the seminar with their families and the people in their communities.
Next, Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission U Lwin Oo gave a speech on the purpose of the seminar. Officials from the Anti-Corruption Commission then discussed the specifics of anti-corruption efforts and the Anti-Corruption Law.
Afterward, the officials from the commission, led by Commission Member Daw Kyu Kyu Win, met with the Corruption Prevention Units (CPU) of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism. They discussed the units' experiences, strengths, weaknesses, and analyses of their work.
