







An eight-nation Interim Observer Team (IOT) began a three-day visit on Monday to the Thailand-Cambodia border to investigate an alleged mine incident involving Thai soldiers and reported ceasefire violations by Cambodia. The delegation, representing Brunei, Malaysia, Laos, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam, is led by the Malaysian Military Attaché in Bangkok.
The observers are visiting military operations centers and key sites in Ubon Ratchathani, Si Sa Ket, and Surin provinces. Their itinerary includes inspections at Pha Mor E Daeng, military bases near Phu Ma Khuea and Phanom Dong Rak Hospital. As part of the visit, the observers are scheduled to inspect Chong Chup Ta Mok on Wednesday, the site where a soldier was injured by a landmine.
