The event was held at the National Speed Skating Oval, known as the “Ice Ribbon.” Sixty-four teams competed in 16 preliminary heats, with four robots advancing to the final.
Using fully autonomous navigation, the robots maintained stable gaits, followed running paths, and avoided stepping on lane lines without remote human control. The H1, a subsidiary of Hangzhou-based Unitree Robotics, completed the race in 1 minute and 28.03 seconds to secure victory. Running from Thursday to Sunday, the Games drew 280 teams from 16 countries, including the United States, Germany, and Italy, competing in 26 events ranging from running and long jump to football and skills-based challenges.
