Dr. S Jaishankar holds talks with South Korean counterpart

India’s External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar held bilateral talks with South Korea’s Foreign Minister Cho Hyun in New Delhi on Saturday.

The discussions covered a broad spectrum of areas including defence, security, trade, economic cooperation, regional connectivity, and people-to-people ties. The meeting reflects both countries’ shared commitment to strengthening their strategic partnership in the Indo-Pacific region. He was previously Seoul’s ambassador in New Delhi from 2015 to 2017 and has expertise in multilateral diplomacy.
