Firefighters battle wildfires in northwestern Spain

Evacuations are taking place Monday evening amid wildfires in the town of Tres Cantos, north of Madrid. At least a man killed and around 200 people were evacuated. By Tuesday morning, regional officials said the blaze had been contained. Heat alerts were issued in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal and the Balkans, with temperatures expected to soar above 40C.
