Four more taxi fleets officially begin operations

Four more taxi fleets officially commenced services in Hong Kong on Monday after being issued five-year licences. Passengers can make bookings via phone calls or the fleet’s mobile app.

They can also directly hail a cab on the street. Meanwhile, the Transport Department has set up some 80 designated fleet taxi stopping places at 13 locations, such as the airport, boundary control points and Hong Kong Disneyland. Signage and online hailing QR codes have also been put up for the public and travellers to make their bookings.
