Soldiers and volunteers help flood relief

Following heavy downpours in South Korea, soldiers and volunteers across the country have joined flood relief efforts, working tirelessly to clear the wreckage and aid recovery operations. Heavy rain caused a hillside to collapse in a village in Jeollanam-do region last weekend. Mudslides buried homes, completely destroying a warehouse. The latest rainstorm left roughly 500 houses and 7,000 hectares of farmland flooded in the Jeollanam-do region alone.
