Enactment of Law: Myanmar Coast Guard Law enacted

The State Administration Council has enacted the Myanmar Coast Guard Law on July 17, designated as Law No. 41/2025.

The new law comprises 13 chapters and 47 articles, outlining the establishment, functions, powers, and responsibilities of the Myanmar Coast Guard. The enactment was made under Section 419 of the Constitution, with the order signed by Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Chairman of the State Administration Council.
