





To help conserve the natural environment and ecosystems, the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union held its 2025 monsoon season tree-planting event near the temporary staff housing of the Tribunal in Ottarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on July 16.
First, Chairman of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union, U Aung Zaw Thein, led the event by planting a teak sapling. Then, members of the Tribunal, permanent secretaries, and staff collectively planted a total of 260 trees, including 110 teak, 50 padauk, 50 ironwood, and 50 star-flower trees, as part of a national movement.
The Chairman and members of the Tribunal observed and encouraged the staff's tree-planting activities and instructed them to ensure the ongoing care and nurturing of the planted trees for their long-term survival and growth.
Next, the Chairman visited and encouraged the staff and their families living in the temporary staff housing of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union. Furthermore, the Chairman also visited the temporary office of the Constitutional Tribunal of the Union to observe the staff's regular administrative work and provided necessary guidance.
