Inspection Tour: Chief Minister makes inspection in Padaung

Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win, along with regional ministers, visited Padaung Township on July 12 to support agriculture and local businesses.

In Thayetlein Village-tract, the Chief Minister observed 10 acres of sesame plantation and urged farmers to use of quality sesame seeds and modern techniques to increase production. He also inspected flood prevention efforts for over 1,700 acres of monsoon paddy, including water gate installations at local streams and bridges.

Later, the Chief Minister attended a fertilizer spreading event in Ma Gyi Htone Village and encouraged the use of natural fertilizers to reduce costs and improve yields. He also advised crop rotation with beans after the rice season.

The Chief Minister later visited “Dana Peanut Oil” MSME business in Oatshitpin, praising it for using local raw materials, creating jobs, and reducing reliance on imports. He pledged continued support for MSME enterprises to grow and export.
