Field Demonstration : Direct paddy seed sowing demonstrated in Kengtung

A field demonstration showcasing the direct paddy seed sowing system using seeders was held at the Kengtung Agricultural Research Farm on July 12. The event was jointly organized by the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Agricultural Research. Officials explained about monsoon paddy cultivation, and direct seeding method using seeders. This system helps save time, reduce labor costs, and address the shortage of farm workers.
