Fingerlings Releasing : 100,000 fingerlings released into Yezin Dam

A ceremony to release fingerlings into Yezin Dam was held at the venue in Nay Pyi Taw Zeyathiri Township on Saturday, with the attendance of Chairman of the State Administratin Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

Together with his wife, the Senior General released the fingerlings into the dam. This was followed by releasing of fingerlings by Vice Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win, Chief of Staff (Army, Navy, Air), Commander-in-Chief (Navy), Commander-in-Chief (Air), senior military officers from the Commander-in-Chief Office and thier wives, military officers, Tatmadawmen and their families.

A total of 100,000 fingerlings were released during the ceremony. From 2011 to 2019, this activity was held for 10 consecutive year, and this is the 11th event of releasing fingerlings into Yezin Dam by the families of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy, Air), with over 885,000 fingerlings in total released till todate.
