Factory Tour: Senior General visits Leather Factory in Meiktila

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited Tatmadaw Leather Factory in Meiktila Station on Thursday.

Officials reported on the salient points of the factory, its operation capacity, production processes and welfare activities for the staff. In response to the reports, the Senior General explained the government’s efforts for providing clothing needs of Tatmadawmen, and stressed the need to manufacture quality products, using quality raw materials.

He urged all to strive for manufacturing quality leather products while studying the production process of international industries. The Senior General and party later took a tour around the Leather Factory, observing the production processes of various units. They also viewed the display of lather raw materials, and provided cash rewards for the factory staff.
