Futsal Tournament Kicked Off: MGY Chief Minister's Cup Futsal Tournament Opened

The opening ceremony of the 2025 Magway Region Chief Minister's Cup Inter-District U-25 Men's Futsal Tournament was held on July 7 at the Futsal Stadium within the Magway Region Sports Ground and the Chief Minister U Tint Lwin delivered the opening address.

The Chief Minister stated that this tournament is intended as a selection event to choose the Magway Region team that will compete in the Region and State U-25 Futsal Tournament from August 20 to 27 in Taunggyi, Shan State. He also mentioned that the Union Government is implementing long-term plans to ensure continued success in futsal. Following his remarks, he officially declared the "2025 Magway Region Government Chief Minister's Cup Inter-District Under-25 Men's Futsal Tournament" open.

After that, Chief Minister U Tint Lwin and officials reportedly watched and encouraged the first match of the tournament, which was played between the Pakokku District team and the Aunglan District team.
