Systematic Farmland Project : Magway Region Chief Minister inspects poultry zone

Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin visited the poultry farming zone and systematic farmland development project near Shar Pin Hla village in Magway Township on July 5. Officials briefed on the 48-acre poultry zone, which is 70% complete, with 12 farmers raising 3,000 chickens each.

The aim is to increase local meat supply and reduce reliance on risky meat sources. The Chief Minister and party also inspected the systematic farmland project, including land mapping, canal design, and agreements of land plots. The project will create standardized farmland with proper irrigation, drainage, and access roads, improving year-round crop production, up to three harvests per year.

The Chief Minister urged timely and safe completion of the works and encouraged coordination among departments to meet development goals in agriculture and livestock sectors.
