Inspection in Kayah State : Chief Minister inspects agriculture & sports activities

Kayah State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, along with officials, on Saturday visited a model vegetable and seasonal crop plantation in Naung Yar (A) Ward of Loikaw, where agricultural officers briefed on successful crop cultivation.

The Chief Minister encouraged selling vegetables at fair prices, using the farm as a demonstration site for farmers, and promoting year-round and long-term crop planting that can also supply markets. He then inspected a fish hatchery construction site under the state fisheries department, urging completion within set standards and timelines, and to distribute fish fingerlings to farmers at affordable prices.

Later, at the No. (2) Sports Stadium in Daw Ukhu Ward, the Chief Minister met with the Kayah U-18 football team preparing for an inter-state tournament. He encouraged them to strive for excellence, aim for national selection, and presented cash assistance to the players and coaches.
