US and Guatemala agree to strengthen border surveillance cooperation

The US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem on Thursday signed an agreement with Guatemala Interior Minister Francisco Jimenez for the two countries to deepen collaboration on border security. Guatemala was the last stop on a three-day tour of Central America for Noem, where she met with the respective presidents of Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, and Guatemala.
