New Amazon TV show 'Countdown' premieres in Hollywood

Actor Eric Dane and the cast and crew of new Amazon Prime TV series "Countdown" walk the world premiere grey carpet in Hollywood. Entirely filmed on location in Los Angeles, the series follows a task force trying to stop a terrorist attack and tries to bring back "the vibe and the energy" of the 80s action movies, said creator and showrunner Derek Haas. 

Amazon Prime Video is set to drop its new crime-thriller series Countdown with a high-octane Hollywood premiere on June 25. The first three episodes will debut simultaneously, with weekly installments leading up to the season finale on September 3. The first trailer showcases intense action—explosions, high-speed chases, and edge-of-your-seat stunts. Ackles delivers die-hard-style heroics, promising the same chemistry and energy his “Supernatural” fans adore.
