First assembly of International Big Cat Alliance

The first Assembly of the International Big Cat Alliance (IBCA) was held in New Delhi on Monday.

The meeting saw participation from ministerial delegations of nine countries, including Bhutan, Cambodia, Eswatini, and Kazakhstan. During the meeting, Indian Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change said India stands ready to collaborate with all IBCA members to adapt best models, tailored to local contexts and to co-develop innovative solutions that secure the future of big cats and their landscapes worldwide.
