Turkmenistan provides aid to foreigners arrived from Iran

Human in connection with the current situation in the Middle East, Turkmenistan is taking immediate measures to provide humanitarian assistance, providing its territory for the safe exit of foreign diplomats, members of their families, as well as other citizens currently in Iran.

  As of today, about 120 people have already crossed the state border through checkpoints of Turkmenistan. Among them are citizens of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Romania and a number of other countries. All those who arrived are promptly provided with the necessary support, including vehicles for further movement, hot meals, essential items and accommodation in the capital’s Sport Hotel.

As part of this humanitarian mission, the relevant government agencies of Turkmenistan closely interact with diplomatic missions of foreign states and international organizations.
