India gifts 40 ambulances to Nepal’s health sector

The Government of India gifted 40 ambulances to health institutions across Nepal, aiming to cover 33 districts across all seven provinces. The ambulances were distributed in Kathmandu, Birgunj, Pokhara, and Dharan.

The ceremony in Kathmandu was attended by Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of India, who emphasized that this initiative has been a key part of India’s long-standing support for Nepal’s health sector. He also highlighted the broader and vibrant development partnership between the two nations over the past seven decades. The gifting of ambulances is part of India’s continued commitment to strengthening Nepal’s infrastructure.
