Bus crash leaves 11 dead in Mexico

A bus overturned on Tuesday on a highway in Mexico, leaving 11 people dead and more than 20 injured. According to the local civil protection department, the accident happened in the town of Hualahuises in northeast Nuevo Leon state.

The bus was headed to Tampico in the neighboring state of Tamaulipas. The passengers were mostly tourists from that area. In one of the deadliest incidents, a collision between a truck and a bus killed 38 people in the southeastern state of Campeche in February.
