India, EU to hold joint naval exercise in Indian Ocean

India and the European Union are set to conduct a joint naval exercise in the Indian Ocean, strengthening their maritime security partnership.

Reflecting the growing maritime security cooperation between India and the European Union, the two sides will conduct a joint naval exercise in the Indian Ocean from June 1st to 3rd. The exercise will focus on advanced counter-piracy operations, interoperability, tactical manoeuvres, and enhanced communication protocols.
