




Under the management of the Mon State Government, provision of health care services and assistance to retired civil service personnel took place at Mawlamyine General Hospital on May 30.
Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein attended the event together with the Chief Justic of the State High Court, State Ministers and departmental officials.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister stated that implementations are underway for continuous provision of health care services and foodstuff to retirees within the state on the date of pension payment. Then, the Chief Minister and State Ministers provided basic foodstuff to the retirees.
Later, the Chief Minister and party oversaw the provision of health care services to the retirees by professors and health care staff and cordially met with the retirees. It’s reported that almost 2.7 million kyat cash assistance, rice and egg were provided to 300 retirees.
