




A baby orangutan born earlier this month at a conservation center on Indonesia's Sumatra Island. Ade was born to 15-year-old mother Susi, who has been at the facility since she was about three years old. The orangutan mother was handed over the center by villagers.
At that time, it was not in a good condition, so, it was not possible to release her back into the wild. And, she was nurtured by the Kasang Kulim conservation center. Orangutans, native to Borneo and Sumatra, are classified as Critically Endangered on the IUCN Red List.
