Legendary 1935 guitar heads to auction to aid children with cancer

A legendary guitar, crafted in 1935 by master luthier Santos Hernández will be auctioned online from 19 to 28 May in Paris. 

The unique instrument is estimated to fetch between €125,000 and €185,000. All proceeds will be donated in full to the Aladina Foundation, which supports children with cancer. luthier and sales consultant said the guitar is an extremely rare instrument, in remarkable condition and with equally remarkable provenance, carrying cultural significance as it belongs to Spanish heritage.
