In a message shared on social media, Biden acknowledged the widespread impact of cancer, referencing his own family's experience with the disease. 

His son, Beau Biden, died of cancer in 2015. The post included a photo of Biden with his wife, Jill, underscoring their personal connection to the illness and their appreciation for the public’s response.
