The largest bicycle parking facility in France officially opened near Lyon's Part-Dieu train station. With over 1,500 secure spaces, the bike station offers a practical solution for commuters and cyclists.

President of Lyon's Metropolitan Council said that the council is developing a policy that promotes alternatives to individual car use-namely cycling and public transportation. In this context, the issue of cycling access at the station is essential. Beyond expanding cycling infrastructure, the council must also ensure secure bike parking.
