Memory Alley opened at Russian Embassy in Ashgabat

The opening ceremony of the Alley of Memory dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place at the Russian Embassy in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan on Wednesday. 

The event is a symbol of deep respect for the feat of the Soviet people in the fight against fascism. Participants also honored the memory of the fallen heroes with a minute of silence and laid wreaths at the base of the alley. The new Alley of Memory has become another significant place reminiscent of the heroic feat of the Soviet people and the importance of peace throughout the world.
