Burdur Museum showcases ancient treasures

The Burdur Archaeological Museum, located in Turkiye’s western Mediterranean region, houses an extraordinary collection of ancient artifacts unearthed from some of the most significant archaeological sites in Anatolia. Among the museum’s highlights are monumental statues of Roman Emperors Marcus Aurelius and Hadrian, towering symbols of Roman imperial presence in the region. 

These sculptures are part of a vast collection of over 71,000 artifacts. The museum features pieces excavated from renowned ancient cities. These exhibits offer insights into the region’s rich history from the Neolithic era through the Roman period.
