Hearing aid takes top prize at French invention competition

The Concours Lépine, which rewards the best inventions, has awarded its most prestigious prize to a “listening aid” headset that amplifies sound for people with hearing loss using dual sound conduction, both via the air and through the skull. Visitors to the show who tested the invention described it as “amazing” and “more practical for communicating with their elders.”
