





Viet Nam is expecting a bumper lychee crop this year, with total production projected to exceed 300,000 tons—a 30% increase from last year.
The agricultural sector has made careful preparations to ensure timely harvesting and export. According to the Department of Crop Production and Plant Protection, the harvest will take place in two main phases, starting May 20 and continuing through July.
Nearly 470 growing area codes have been approved, with approximately 40% of the crop designated for export to key international markets, including China, Australia, Thailand, Japan, and the United States. Cold storage, quarantine, and post-harvest processing facilities are fully prepared, ensuring smooth.
