






Chairman of the State Administration Council and Prime Minister, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, and delegation members arrived Moscow on Wednesday. The visit of the Prime Minister came at the invitation of the President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Vladimir Putin, to attend the military parade marking the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945).
They were welcomed at the airport by the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and officials as well as Myanmar Ambassador to Russia and the Military Attaché, along with the Guard of Honour of the Russian Federation. During the visit, the Prime Minister will attend the 80th Anniversary military parade and related events commemorating the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945).
He will also hold separate meetings and discussions with other attendees. Throughout this goodwill trip, Myanmar aims to further enhance strategic cooperation and friendly relations between the governments and people of the two countries in various sectors, including economy and security.
Similarly, Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, the wife of the Prime Minister, will hold discussions with the Chairwomen of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, and the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance in Russia.
