Bilateral Meeting take place on the sidelines of the 17th Conference of AMRI

On the sidelines of the 17th Conference of ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Information (AMRI) and the 8th Conference of the AMRI Plus Three, the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defense of Brunei held separate bilateral meetings with the Deputy Minister of Communications of Malaysia; and the Minister of Information of Cambodia.

During these meetings the Minister expressed support to Malaysia as Chair of ASEAN for the year 2025 and further underscored AMRI’s role in contributing to regional progress and development towards ASEAN integration. He also highlighted Cambodia’s contribution in ASEAN’s media and information sector including tackling issues on fake news and misinformation.
