Westminster and Edinburgh Castle lights up to mark 80 years since end of WWII

A military parade, fly-past and balcony appearance by the royal family on Monday kicked off four days of UK celebrations marking 80 years since the end of World War II.

Likewise, Britain's Palace of Westminster, home of the UK parliament and Edinburgh Castle lights up in red, white and blue to mark 80 years since the end of World War II. On the other side of the landmark, images of Victory in Europe Day are projected onto Big Ben's tower.
