Comforting staff and families: SAC Vice Chairman inspected temporary staff housings

The Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win who is in the capacity of the Chairman of the National Disaster Management Committee, accompanied by Union ministers, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command and officials, on May 4, inspected construction of temporary offices of ministries with the use of modular houses, progress of temporary staff housing, and settlement of staff members and families at the completed temporary staff housings.

Th SAC Vice-Chairman Chairman  Vice-Senior General inspected the construction of temporary offices of the Ministry of Immigration and Population, Constitutional Tribunal, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Electric Power regarding with functioning of office works at the modular house, the completion of temporary staff housings, ongoing projects and relocation of staff and their families at temporary bashes and heard the clarifications of the relevant Union minsters and gave necessary instructions.

The Vice-Senior General viewed round repairing of office buildings which have been examined by experts. He also inspected building strength test conducted by experts from the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee, the Ministry of Construction and the Myanmar Engineering Council with the use of machinery at Gangaw Housing Building No 9 classified at red level. On arrival at Uppatasanti Pagoda, the Vice-Senior General inspected systematic removal of slabs for repair of the platform of the pagoda, and preparation for renovation in the cave.
