



This Saturday morning marked the opening ceremony for the veneration of Buddha’s relics, a designated National Treasure of India, at Thanh Tâm Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh City. The event kicks off a series of observances leading up to the United Nations Vesak Festival in 2025.
Since early morning, thousands of monks, nuns, Buddhists, and members of the public have gathered at the pagoda to pay their respects. The Buddha’s relics will be enshrined at Thanh Tâm Pagoda and accessible for worship daily from 6 AM to 10 PM until May 8th. Following this period, the relics will continue their journey to other locations, including Tây Ninh, Hanoi, and Hà Nam.
