COVID cases on the rise in Hong Kong

The number of local residents tested positive for COVID recently has reached the highest in the past six months. The Centre for Health Protection expects the COVID virus will become more active in the coming few weeks. 

Between April 20 and 26, 895 COVID samples out of 8,900 samples collected tested positive, which is more than 10 percent. There were 10 cases of outbreak in schools or hostels, involving 47 people, which is three higher than the previous week.
