On April 29, Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Prince and Princess of Wales, celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary with a two-day visit to the Isle of Mull in Scotland.

This trip holds special significance as it marks Kate’s first overnight public tour since her cancer diagnosis in early 2024. During their visit, the couple engaged with local communities to promote environmental conservation and support rural development.

Their itinerary included visiting the Tobermory Producers Market, touring a croft and restaurant on the west coast of the island, and meeting with countryside rangers from the Mull and Iona Ranger Service. They also joined a school group for an outdoor lesson and visited the Ardura Community Forest.

The Royal Foundation announced grants to refurbish two community halls on the island, Aros Hall in Tobermory and Pennyghael Community Hall.
