Cash Assistance : Over 258 million kyat provided for the bereaved families

On Saturday, a ceremony to provide cash assistance to the quake-affected people was held at the Tabaung Ground in Pobbathiri Township. 

Vice Chairman of the National Disaster Management Committee Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win attended the ceremony and made a speech.

During the ceremony, over 59.7 million kyat cash assistance, provided by the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement and 199 million kyat by the government were provided to the bereaved families for 199 victims, who lost their lives during the severe earthquake.
