Viet Nam-Laos celebrate historic ties

In a heartfelt display of friendship, Vietnamese President Luong Cuong and his Laotian counterpart, Thongloun Sisoulith, participated in a cultural exchange in Vientiane on Friday. The event, part of the President’s official visit to Laos, was titled “Viet Nam–Laos relations: Deeper than the Red and Mekong Rivers.” 

It celebrated decades of shared victories and unshakable solidarity between the two countries. President Luong Cuong emphasized that the two nations’ unique alliance represents an enduring symbol of loyalty and trust—crucial for both past triumphs and future progress.

He called on both nations to strengthen youth exchanges to enhance collaboration between their peoples and preserve the invaluable Viet Nam-Laos partnership for generations to come.
