Annual meeting: Yangon Region CM attended the meeting

Yangon Region War Veterans Supervisory Committee under Myanmar War Veterans’ Association, held its 2024/2025 annual meeting at the Anawrahta Hall in the Yangon Region Command Headquarters on April 23. Attendees included Yangon Region Government Chief Minister U Soe Thain, the Commander of Yangon Command Brigadier General Pyae Sone Lin; relevant officials.

First, the Patron of Yangon Region War Veterans Supervisory Committee, the Commander of Region Command, delivered an advisory speech.

Subsequently, Chief Minister U Soe Thain, presented cash donations and rice bags to the Supervisory Committee. These were received by the Chairman of Yangon Region War Veterans Supervisory Committee (Inner Urban) Lt-Col. Maung Ko (Retired).

Following that, the Region Commander presented foodstuff, which were received by the Chairman of Yangon Region War Veterans Supervisory Committee (Outer Urban) Col. Yan Naing Oo (Retired).

After that, Chairman of Yangon Region War Veterans Supervisory Committee (Inner Urban) Lt-Col. Maung Ko (Retired), expressed words of gratitude. Then, the Chief Minister and the Regional Commander bid a warm and cordial farewell to the members of the Yangon Region War Veterans’ Association.

Donation the event, the 30 million Kyats of cash, 2,000 bags of rice with 5 pyi of rice each bag, 3,000 eggs, 250 viss of onion, 300 viss of potatoes, 330 viss of cooking oil; and 20 cartons of instant noodle were provided, it’s reported.
