Inspection of blue-grade buildings: MoRAC UM inspected blue-grade buildings

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture, U Tin Oo Lwin, accompanied by deputy ministers and officials, visited several blue-grade buildings that sustained minor damage in the earthquake in the morning on April 21. They inspected the Building No. 1112, Building No. 23104, and Building No. 33113, assessing the necessary repairs and issuing directives for restoration. 

Following this, the Union Minister examined the living conditions of the staff in their residential quarters, met with affected staffs to offer encouragement, and reviewed the progress of temporary "Basha" shelters being constructed for displaced staff families. Responsible officials provided updates on the relocation arrangements for the staff families. 

The Union Minister and officials, then visited Office No. 31 on the ministry’s compound, where temporary Basha shelters will be built for earthquake-affected staff. They inspected the designated site in detail. 

Next, they observed land leveling work at the Saddhamma Wepulla Pariyatti Monastery compound in Dhanasiddhi Ward, where additional temporary shelters will be constructed for ministry staff. The Union Minister provided further instructions as needed. 

After that, the Union Minister and officials inspected a proposed shelter site within the Maha Parahita Development Garden in Dakkhinathiri Township, assessing electricity and water supply readiness. Officials briefed the Union Minister on the preparations, and additional guidance was given.
